MEET THE NEW PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT OF SSC JHS 2023 - 2024!

Greetings, Pestallozians! Just this September 29, 2023, The new members of the Supreme Student Council of YDPSI have been elected! The said members of the SSC are mixed members from R.E.G.A.L. and O.M.S.I.M.

Are you ready to find out who won this year's Supreme Student Council? Are you excited? Then We will be revealing the elected President and Vice President of Supreme Student Council 2023-2024 right now!!

But before that here are some Interesting facts about the name of the two partylists: Did you know that R.E.G.A.L. and O.M.S.I.M. has a meaning on its name? It may be two fun names for partylists, but the meanings showcase the personalities and characteristics of our new SSC officials!

R.E.G.A.L. means Resilient, Encouraging, Growing, Aspiration of Leadership. And O.M.S.I.M. means Obedient and Modest Students with Instructive Manner.

Moving on, We are pleased to announce Ms. Mikaela Marin Labitag from 9-Gold, a part of the O.M.S.I.M Partylist, obtained the position as the President of SSC! Congratulations for being the newly elected School's Supreme Student Council President of Yverdon de Peztallozi School for the academic year 2023-2024. She has consistently had high honors since kindergarten. She is also the Vice President of the Sci-Math club which was made by students to celebrate the Science and Math month. And lastly, she is the Class President of Grade 9-Gold.

One of her promises during the campaign was a water dispenser, which a lot of students liked! This said, the water dispenser is going to be filtered every week to avoid any contamination, and it is also going to be made to keep students from sharing their water to anyone, to also get away from diseases. She also promised to prevent cyberbullying from happening. Mini events every month were also one of their platforms. Congratulations once more to our new Supreme Student Council President! We are very excited to see what you will accomplish in this new role and the positive impact you will have on the school.

On the other hand, Ms. Cheska Sophia Alcantara from 10-Diamond, a part of the R.E.G.A.L party list, Acquired the position of Vice President in SSC! She is also the Class President of Grade 10-Diamond. Some of the platforms they had were, Suggestion Box, Confession Box, Yverfair (a talent fair), mobile game tournaments, Freedom Wall, and many more!

A little Fun fact about our Vice President! She joined the Singing Contest last January 27, 2023, in a duet with Thenshi Santos of O.M.S.I.M. Partylist! Not only a SSC officer, but also a talented singer! She is also a member of the Legacy Publication team. Congratulations!
