Feature Story : Celebrating Excellence and Dedication : YDPSI World Teachers' Day Program

Teachers, teachers, they are the second role model of students. We always find them cheerful, always there to guide us and be with our side in every difficult situation. Our teachers, really are hardworking and they have patience for their beloved students. Teachers help us build our future. So here at our dear Yverdon de Pestallozi School Inc., we always give appreciation, thanks and time for our beloved teachers. From the students, to the school faculties, and many more, the school really gave their full effort to have this special program as a gift of gratitude to every teachers, especially here at our school.

They prepared and arranged such an exceptional program that really entertained and left a precious memory of a lifetime not just for the teachers, but as well to the students. The atmosphere was filled with love, cheerfulness, shouts, supports and applause as the program smoothly ran throughout the morning 'til noon. We can really see that Pestallozians enjoyed such wonderful celebration as a thank you for our dear educators.

Starting the first flow of the program, the teachers made their grand entrance as they made their way with a special and memorable walk up until the front. Of course the students can't help but to shout and cheer as they support their beloved advisers and showed how proud they are from being their “mga anak.” 

The real enjoyment of course was just starting as it was first led by an adorable performance of the teachers, which made everybody dance as well! Being followed by a heart pounding performances of our wonderful Pestallozian singers, Thenshi and Xyrene. Their voices were such a melody in everybody's ears, that the audience couldn't help but to get flustered and touched.

There are also fun games that was held during the program. I'm telling you, this will always have a special place in my heart even in years. The laughter that was brought upon our curved lips full of smiles, really will be an unforgettable moment this October.

Coming right next is the highlight of the event, teachers were given certificates of gratitude and appreciation by their beloved students who truly appreciate their hardworks and efforts. I can say that each and every certificate they have received perfectly suits them. That was really touching I must say. 

The hype of the crowd didn't just end there. After a warm and touching awarding of certificates, it was then followed by amazing performances from YNDAK, the school's dance club, and the Supreme Student Council of the Junior High School Department. Dance here, dance there, everybody enjoyed the wonderful dances that was delivered for the teachers. Smiles were placed in their faces, which really is a heart touching reaction. 

Many students and teachers have created memories in this World Teachers' Day program. We can truly say that this is one of the most enjoyable and unforgettable moment and event here at Yverdon de Pestallozi School Inc. Everything was organized and prepared for our dear teachers. They say, "Treasure this moment or else it will be disappointment." especially here during Teachers' Day. I really am happy that everybody enjoyed the program and had an unforgettable moment there.
